Burano Island in Venice

Burano — Harlequin Island for its rainbow-colored houses. The riot of colors is a wonderful color therapy session.

Burano — The island of fishermen, where the refined art of lace weaving originated.

«Burano "—a densely populated island, the women there weave beautiful lace, and the men make bambini; during the day they work in the glass factories on that island, next to another campanile, that's Murano. During the day they make beautiful glass for the rich all over the world, and then return home in a small vaporetto and make bambini. However, not everyone spends every night in bed with their wife. At night they also hunt ducks along the edge of the marshes in this lagoon; they hunt from flat-bottomed boats, with long guns. On a moonlit night, the shots can be heard until the morning."
